What was the highlight of The Splash Koh Chang

Great place to stay with small kids and perfect location to go around the island.

The pool for kids is fantastic (3 slides!). Our 3 kids had a great time and made friends. Cute little beach. The room on top floor was very nice. The room on lower ground floor smelled bad and was very humid. Many nice restaurants around.

We had asked for an extra bed in advance, and it was not ready when we checked in at 7pm. The breakfast was really awful. We had to go get coffee outside because the coffee there was so bad. Could not eat the eggs or fruits. Music at breakfast is really loud.

The location was great. The pool and slides are great for the children.

It was really relaxing and fun to stay at.

The pool was nice as it included a couple of slides.

The beach wasn’t that nice since we weren’t able to swim in it.

Great pool and excellent customer service

The staff was very helpful and provide excellent customer service. The pool has slides which was the favourite part (for the kids) of our stay. The hotel also had massage services which was reasonably priced. In addition to the usual hotel supplies, each room has umbrella, slippers, extra pool towels and a bath rope. Each room also has a sofa. Morning breakfast was great with coffee machine.

One of our rooms felt stuffy.

Family Break - Splash Splash Fun In The Sun

The whole resort is spotlessly clean and the housekeeping staff do a fantastic daily job. My 5 year old son had an incredible time every day at both the on site water park and the private beach. The on site shaded parking was perfect also and very secure. We enjoyed our stay very much and can't wait to get back.

Highly recommend! We will definitely be back!

My kids absolutely loved the water park which is the reason we chose to stay here! The location is great and there were lots of restaurants and shops within walking distance. We had a wonderful spacious family room with bunk beds.

The breakfast was probably the only thing that could have been improved on. There was a basic buffet offered but dissapointingly no bacon, but they did made a lovely omelette which was delicious! The milk was also only hot powdered milk. But otherwise we we were happy and filled up on the lovely fresh fruit and the variety of breads offered.

Nice stay in the beach side restore

Funny pool and the slides. Delicious breakfast. comfortable bed with nice sofa. I like the TV channels!

The water in the pool is always very frizzy even in the afternoon. No much wide beach area in front of the resort, only can like at the sea but no space to play sand and walk.

Waterpark is really great for the kids, they will love it! Good massage place hattathai next door. Staff is very friendly with decent english skills

Sometimes bad smell from septic tank near the beach. Breakfast restaurant has only few decent tables outside. Sitting inside feels like prison. Snorkling trip to the island next to the hotel is an expensive joke.

Fantastic except for the wait before and after our stay.

The hotel, guests, staff, and facilities were fantastic. Could not recommend it enough if you have young children who can swim. The breakfast is decent.

Please, please, please stop making us wait before checking in and checking out. I can think of 10 things you could do to make this process easier, i.e. take the passports/ID, give the keys, bring back the paperwork to the room later when convenient... "Baeb Nung" is a Thai expression that means "sit your ass down and wait for this grueling experience to be over before we give you the keys to the wonderful holiday you already paid for". And buy a coffee machine!

Exceptional

The water slides are great for all ages. Rooms are a great size, you can easily walk along the beach (whilst in the sea) to get to a lovely quiet beach. Note I say in the sea as there isn't really a beach here during Dec due to high tides, there is a good beach bar which has amazing sunsets. But no beach for children to dig or build sand castles.

The breakfast was OK but nothing special, and the service on poolside was not speedy in any way (32mins for a portion of French fries, which arrived cold). The pool is FREEZING, the whole pool is one temperature no matter what time of day (even the very shallow areas) which leads us the believe it is refrigerated to a rediculas cold temperature to the point that small children are shivering.

Loved the pool, the seafront area and the veranda to sit on

The only thing that couldn't be controlled by the hotel which was the monsoonal weather conditions! Parking was tricky at times

The slider was nice, my son had great fun with it!

Don't understand why the hotel charged us extra fee for the slider when check-out. We understood that it was included in the room rate and during check-in the hotel staff didn't mentioned us about this at all. Such a big disappointing at the end of the stay!
